Innovation and Capacity Building Fund

In harmony with the Federation’s ongoing grants, the aim of the Innovation Fund is to enhance the strong foundation for the important work undertaken by Federation funded agencies and synagogues. This donor-directed fund seeks to encourage collaborative approaches that benefit multiple agencies.

The fund is an opportunity for agencies to come up with innovative, creative ways to strengthen and improve their organizations, programs, and services through a one-time cash injection. Applications for seed funding will also be accepted for new creative programs and events, as well as for pilot projects that launch partnerships or new activities.

For eligibility and other important information, please read this document.

Applications are accepted twice a year, usually in November/December for January funding and in May/June for July funding. Please contact Scott Goldstein for more details by emailing sgoldstein@jewishottawa.com or calling 613-798-4696 x200.
