Yom HaShoah Commemoration

7 - 8:30 pm

Join us for a profound evening of remembrance and resilience that will feature a candle lighting ceremony with Holocaust Survivors, and inspiring speaker, Mariette Doduck, a child survivor of the Holocaust and acclaimed Holocaust educator. Her compelling narrative will illuminate the importance of remembrance and education in shaping a more tolerant and inclusive society. Doduck is author of the acclaimed memoir 'A Childhood Unspoken.' All are welcome. Free event. 
Please have ID ready at entry to the SJCC.

Yom HaShoah event at National Holocaust Monument
11 am - 12 pm
Join us at the Holocaust Monument. The ceremony will include speeches, videos and musical recitals.
Underground parking is available at The Canadian War Museum and limited outdoor parking on Wellington Street.

Celebrate with family entertainment, Israeli music and a special Israeli menu by Village Cafe. Circus workshops, photobooth, face painting, blow ups, magic show, balloon twisters, and more. At 6 pm, enjoy the movie "Hummus!"
