Archives Services and Fees
We are happy to assist you with your research. Below you will find our pay-scale for reproductions and research assistance by our archivist.
Fees for reproductions intended for commercial use carry a surcharge of 100% and require permission of use from the Archives.

RESEARCH AND DOCUMENT SELECTION - Reproduction Fees
FREE for first two hours then $25/hr of staff time. We reserve the right to charge for staff time for any request that takes over two hours.
PHOTOCOPIES
Per Sheet (B&W – All sizes) $0.25
Per Sheet (Colour – All sizes) $1.00
*Over 20 pages; B&W - $0.10, color - $.75
PREVIEW IMAGES
FREE for first 5 images (photographs or documents in PDF) $5 a PDF per additional image.
PHOTOGRAPH OR DOCUMENT REPRODUCTIONS
Photographic Print (8.5 x 11 on matte photo paper) $20.00
Digital file copy (300 dpi JPEG) $10.00
Digital file copy (>300 dpi JPEG/TIFF) Considered per project
Larger format or special order scans $30.00
SOUND REPRODUCTIONS
CD (Per recording) $25.00
MP3 (Uploaded to FTP site) $20.00
VIDEO REPRODUCTIONS

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
• Only Archives staff and trained volunteers are permitted to photocopy archival material.
• Photocopying of photographic material is not permitted. Photographs are scanned in house and photographic reproductions may be ordered as Digital File Copies or as Prints made from the scanned images.
• The Ottawa Jewish Archives reserves the right to decline any reproduction request if the proposed request may be in violation of copyright or other intellectual property rights, privacy laws, donor restrictions, conservation concerns, Archives policies, and/or professional ethic and codes of conduct.
• Payment may be made in cash or by credit card. Sales are final.
